Education at Trinity Lutheran Church
There are various ways we live and learn together at Trinity. We have educational opportunities for all ages. We are always willing to start new programs, long-term or short-term, for how you might desire to learn. Below are our programs, and information on how to get involved.
Sunday SchoolSunday School is held every Sunday from 9:45-10:30, and lessons go along with the readings from church. Currently, we have a one room school house configuration with all ages (3-12) learning together. Students will be brought to worship at 10:30 where they can find their parents, continue to actively learn in the kids zone of the sanctuary, or otherwise participate in worship.

After-school Bible StudyTeen-aged students meet after school on Wednesdays for fellowship and Bible study. Approximately 3:30-4:45. What we study is up to the group. Anyone is welcome to join!
We will study various books of the Bible, engage in other faith-based curriculum, and be a place to talk about what is happening in our lives. |
ConfirmationFor anyone interested in learning what it means to be a full participant in the Lutheran Church, what it means to be a Lutheran, or how our baptism informs our everyday life, Confirmation is for you!
Primarily at Trinity, Confirmation class is for 7-8 graders. 9th graders and others will participate in a year of mentor-based learning in preparation for being confirmed in the spring. When we gather, we will learn about core Lutheran beliefs and history, what's in the Bible, and we will ponder what baptism does for us and what it means for our lives each day. Games, songs, and snacks are definitely not out of the question! |
